I’m a professional photographer of 23 years, yikes, I do not feel that old let me assure you! Lol I started my career at 19 actually, right after I completed my Diploma in Photography.

Rewind to 2017 and the opportunity to photograph the class and individual portraits at my son's Steiner School in Brisbane came up. I submitted my tender, and won the bid!

I have to tell you it was so much fun and what I absolutely loved the most was interacting with each child and giving them a little boost of confidence, just seeing their beaming smiles in response was heart melting.

I strongly believe in the importance of adults constantly instilling confidence in our young people, by affirming their worthiness. 

As a Steiner mum you can gain a little insight into the type of mothering that’s important to me, a handmade home, simple traditions, connection and empathy. My parenting journey has been influenced by Marshall Rosenburgs, NVC.

I know how hard it is to miss them every day when we have to go to work, it really is all for them and giving them the best life possible. I get it.
